One of the most watched movies on the network, When Love Kills was Tasha Smith’s directorial debut, as well as Lance Gross’ and Lil’ Mama’s first leading roles. There was a major campaign put behind the premiere. Social graphics, videos and a Facebook campaign all drove the viewership.

The National Urban League partnered with TV One for two years to put on a much needed discussion about issues that effect the Black community that our politicians are not talking about. Images from the taping of the town hall were used to promote the airing on TV One.
